Delete Account Request
This page explains how users can request deletion of a Nili News account and related personal data. Nili News is a news aggregation app that provides local and global news from third-party sources in multiple languages, including Arabic (AR) and Farsi (FA). Nili News is not the original publisher of third-party articles.
How to request deletion
- Email support.nili@gmail.com from the email address connected to your Nili News account, if possible.
- Use the subject line: Nili News account deletion request.
- Include your account email or user identifier and state that you want your Nili News account deleted.
What may be deleted
When your request is verified, Nili News will delete or anonymize account-related information that is no longer needed, such as profile information, app account data, and user-submitted content where deletion is appropriate.
What may be retained
Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or operational reasons. Aggregated or anonymized records that do not identify you may also be retained.
Processing time
The Nili News team will review deletion requests and respond as soon as reasonably possible. Additional verification may be required before deletion is completed.
